Isaiah was formed somewhere around 15 years ago. It's been so long that I can't remember the exact year. We were formed for a Saturday night seeker service at Jubilee Christian Center. After 8 months, the service was just not drawing in enough people and was discontinued. We had so much fun that we decided to stay together and start playing where ever the Lord would open a door. We ended up playing mostly recovery services, which is pretty much what we're still doing. We have also played a lot of concerts in prisons and juvenile halls, including Santa Rita and San Quentin.
As is with most bands, we have had member changes over the years, but each version of the band lasted for 5 years or more with no member changes. I am the only remaining original member. The amazing thing to me is that God has always brought very talented, humble and Godly people into the band. The current band is no exception.
Our desire is not to get a record contract, or even to hit the big time. Our goal is to serve our God with the abilities that He has blessed us with, and to spread the joy of the Lord through our music, and to tell the lost about the grace of Jesus.
